Swollen Arm After Horsefly Bite, Muscle Pain, Tender Glands Behind Ears. Taken Anti-histamine, Paracetamol, Ibuprofen. Treatment?

I was bitten by a horse fly 2 weeks ago and had quite a swelling on my arm . I took anti histamines. However since then I have extreme muscle pain from the neck downwards and can only function and move by taking paracetemol and ibruphophene. The glands behind my ears are tender and I feel as if I am developing a cold but nothing develops

Hello,

If there are signs of inflammation along with this symptoms, then possibility of infection secondary to fly bite needs to be considered. And this might need a course of antibiotics.
