Swelling, Itching And Pus Formation Under The Penile Foreskin. Treatment?
Hi. I m 23 years old male and I ve developed yellow pus , redness, swelling and itching and irritation under my foreskin . 1 week history of all symtoms and it is getting worse. I haven t had sexual intercouse in a year and I haven t had any bleeding. Urine flow is fine. It is on the outside of the penis under the foreskin. YYYY@YYYY

Hi,
This condition is known as balanoposthitis. This might result from a tight foreskin or phimosis or as a result of some skin disease or infection. Treatment is directed to the cause. The area has to be kept clean, antibacterial cream must be administered if there is active infection or antifungal cream if there is a fungal infection. If the foreskin is tight then circumcision or excision of foreskin would help from recurrent balanoposthitis.

DEAR piayboy_69_48, YOU HAVE DEVELOPED BACTERIAL INFECTION .. NEEDS ANTIBIOTICS BUT BEST WAY TO GET CULTURE AND SENSITIVITY DONE. HENCE DO VISIT TO DERMATOLOGIST HE WILL DO NEEDFUL . BECAUSE THIS TYPE OF INFECTION NEEDS A BIT LONG COURSE OF ANTIBIOTICS PLUS SOME OTHER MEDICINE , UNDER MEDICAL SUPERVISION. DON'T GET PANIC ITS COMMON INFECTION AND GETS ERADICATED COMPLETELY , SHUD NOT GET IMPROPER TREATMENT , MAY GETS REPEATED HENCE TAKE TREATMENT UNDER SUPERVISION AND PROPERLY AS YOU ARE QUITE YOUNG,.......
