The swollen 'bone' could either be a fractured clavicle
or a group of enlarged lymph
nodes or a collection of pus ( called an abscess
). The fracture of the clavicle could be possible only if you have sustained some severe trauma. If the lump is soft and mobile, it could represent an abscess in which case you would need to get it incised and the pus would need to be drained. The enlarged lymph nodes could be due to an infection in the throat or surrounding areas.
Please see a physician for an examination. Only then can the nature of the lump can be identified.
