Swelling In Eye Followed By Swollen Lip Area. Hives In Right Wrist After Taking Antibiotics And Prednisone. Help

On Saturday evening, my left eye swelled up for no apparent reason. On Monday, I went to my eye doctor who gave me eye drops. My eyes got better. On Tuesday, the area on the left side of my lip swelled up and the swelling proceeded to my entire lip area. It looked as if I had received a collagen injection. I went to my internist who gave me an antibiotic and prednesone. The swelling on my face subsided. Now I have hives on my right wrist. Help! Thanks.

Hi, it appears to be the result of allergy, to some thing new in your house, may be foods, cosmetics, soap, clothes etc. Try to trace the thing and and avoid.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe levocitrzine, ofloxacin, and prednesone if required. Thank you.
