Swelling From Left Part Of Roof Of Mouth To Throat, Difficulty In Swallowing, Pain Under Jaw, Other Side Normal. Cause?

The left side of the roof of my mout is swollen from the front back to my throat and hurts. It hurts to swallow . There is some pain and swelling under my jaw on the left side (where I believe there are supposed to be some glands of some sort?). The right side is perfectly normal all around, no pain, no discomfort. i m not sure what this could be or what could cause it?

Hi,
Thanks for your query,
I think you are suffering from parotid gland infection. For that you have to start usage of betadine gargle and try to keep mouth clear of any kind of particle and you have to consult with your physician for systemic antibiotics.
Best wishes to you from my side.
