Apply ice packs on the injured knee intermittently for 15 -20 minutes 3-4 times a day. Take rest. When lying down, elevate the affected knee on a heap of pillows.A compression wrap on the knee might help. Make sure it is not applied too tight. Take a pain killer like brufen
after food 3 times a day. See how you feel in 2 days. If there is no improvement whatsoever, please visit your orthopaedician.
