Sweet Smell In Urine, Nausea, Intense Craving For Vinegar. History Of Coming Off Birth Control. HPT Negative. Ideas?
the past few weeks I've noticed a change in my urine, its a sweet smell. random nausea and intense vinegar craving... I was on birth control for 2wks before stopping due to a DVT scare.. I've taken a pregnancy test that came back negative, though my next period shouldn't come till the beginning of next month... any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.
The change in the smell of your urine is certainly a clue to a potential problem. It could be related to infection or possibly this could represent an increase in something in the urine related to a non-infectious cause, such as diabetes. A simple urine test could sort this out!
Hi, Thanks for writing in. It is far too early for a pregnancy test to come positive. Wait for one week if you miss your period before tasking another test. These could be early pregnancy symptoms ( although still too early). Please check your blood sugar levels to exclude diabetes. Take care.
