Dear Ms Kathy

As seizure has occurred once only, by definition we do not label it as epilepsy. In most of the cases, we do not prescribe antiepileptic drugs and if he is taking treatment, your doctor can consider tapering it. Otherwise there is no cause for worry.

This present ailment in patient will not effect future life, marital relations and any problem to offspring.

Regarding its recurrence, he has almost similar chances as any other healthy person
