I understand your concern that immediately after a PET scan your doctor asked you to meet the ENT.
There are a million reasons why he would have done so which you can easily pick up on the net and will not be very specific of useful to you.
By my experience patients are usually referred after a PET scan if there is some affliction in the thyroid
which is the ENT surgeons forte. I am assuming that even here there may have been some finding pointing out to a thyroid problem and the doctor would have needed an ENT consulation as soon as possible.
The ENT doctor may have a look at the scan and may in all probability order a thyroid analysis. You may meet him as soon as possible and do not worry.
