Suggested Uninterrupted Use Of Pradaxa For Having RF Ablation Of Heart. Safe?

How dangerous is the uninterrupted use of Pradaxa for having a RF Ablation of the Heart? My doctor wants to use Pradaxa starting 7 days before the surgery and not stopping it on the day of surgery. All my research says that everyone either stops it 24 hours prior to surgery of at least do not take the dose on the day of surgery, but my doctor wants not to stop it at all. I am afraid if a bleeding incident happens I will die. What do you say??

HI
Thank for choosing HCM, I think your Doctor must have notice some indication, like INR result, and the INR is the only way to think whether the drug should be continued or not, or if the INR is not done yet then you need to go for the test, why do not you discus it with your doctor, your certain doubts are very much right, & I would advise you to clear it with your doctor and not to take the chance, have good day.
