Suggest Ways To Reduce Blood Sugar Levels And High BP

Dear Sir,
Yesterday my father checked his sugar level while fasting 180, after breakfast level is 311 and pressure level is 180. Doctor says that he has to take insulin injection twice a day. Could you please suggest him, is there any alternative treatment to prescribe, and how do we reduce sugar and pressure level

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. He will require to increase insulin units to higher levels.
2. Alternately he needs to modify his diet to reduce carbohydrates in diet based on his insulin intake. He cannot keep on modifying his diet daily. He should have a regular diet.
3. There is no alternative medication. Best thing other than insulin would be diet control along with moderate exercises. Discuss with your doctor regarding increasing insulin levels. For high blood pressure also, exercises will be beneficial. Continue with regular medications for blood pressure. No alternatives at present.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
