Suggest Ways To Improve Vitamin A Level In An Infant

My 9 month old girl has measles and they perscribed 100,000 units of vitamin A once a day for 2 days for her and no pharmacy here has it in liquid form, was wanting to know if there is any other way I can get a lot of vitamin A into her system with a certain food or juice?

hi,thanks for writing to hcm.
you can feed your child mashed papayas as it is rich in vitaamin A and can be digested easily. you can also try carrot juice since a 9 month old baby is too small to chew. Steamed mashed Sweet potatoes are also rich in vitamin A.

If your child is used to eating non veg then turkey liver would help.
Thanks
Dr.Riyanka
