Hi,
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

In my opinion you should also get your thyroid function tests done.

As Thyroid & Parathyroid gland are in close proximity to each other, so there is every chance of damage to thyroid gland during the surgery.

If your thyroid functions report comes normal then other possibilities also to be ruled out after that.
If there is anything else then feel free to ask.

Thanks & Regards
Dr. Shiv
