Suggest Treatments For Wounds Developed After An Injection For VDRL

Hi, My mother when she want to medical test, after result came out, we noticed that she is positive in VDRL, we decided and rush to a physician and advice about the treatment of VDRL, the doctor went a head and inject her, and he said that the he already treated her, but after the the injection some wounds developed and there are very painful almost 4months now, please advise

A more detailed description of the wounds will be needed for us to tell you what it may be.It would have been nice if you told us if the wounds are around the injection site or all over her body.However, if wounds, it means a skin infection.I will recommend anti-septic bathing with cyteal and good body hygiene.You may see the Doctor for evaluation and to judge the need for antibiotics.In the meantime, she may take pain drugs like ibuprofen.
