Suggest Treatments For Urinary Calculus And Phlebolith
I was told I have a urinary calculus and what looks like a phlebolith, both on different sides. What are the treatments for these things? I ve had symptoms for three weeks, and I have a ct scan scheduled, but I have no idea what my treatment options are. how do I get rid of the phlebolith?

Hello
Treatment of ureteric calculus depend upon many things like composition,position,size of calculus etc.
Small calculus may pass spontaneously with adequate hydration.
Drink lot of water and initially you may need syrup like sodium and potassium citrate.
You may also need routine heogram,random blood sugar,urine RE/ME,CT urography.
If ureteric calculus persists then you may need lithotripsy etc.
Phleboliths usually doesn't require any treatment as these are age related asymptomatic findings. Phleboliths are venous calcifications.
