Suggest Treatments For Panic Attacks
good afternoon sir
im just 20years old and im triggered with anxiety...i feel that im gonna die during a panic attack...i feel breathless, my heart palpitates faster and i have a tightness in my head...i tried explaining this to many doctors...but they said that im normal and nothing is wrong with me..then why am i getting these symptoms??. im tired of all this...its a horrible experience...sometimes i just feel depressed and feel like crying out..can u help me out pls???
and i had seek a psychiatrist and he prescribed me ambulax-m but its still the same..

I can understand your concerns.
From the symptoms you have described it seems that panic disorder is the the most probable diagnosis. Still you should get thyroid function test , as many time increased thyroid hormone also produce similar symptoms.
primary treatment of panic disorder is SSRI medicine mainly sertraline and escitalopram. this medicines start working in around 1 to 2 weeks. Ambulax-m is mostly an adjutant medicine for symptom control.
Ask your treating psychiatrist for SSRI medicines. In my opinion it will greatly help you.
