Extremely itchy skin eruptions over the entire body. Redness and oozing pustules. Have ben to several and they say Atopic dermatitis. This started when by car was thrown into a retention pond and I received several abrasions. They did a immunoglobulin E test and the results were 5276. I never had asthma or any allergies before and the treatment is not working. it has been a year now help.
Hi. As per your case history of atopic dermatitis, my treatment advice is - 1. Avoid using any new products like soap or perfume as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply an emollient cream like Enmoist cream twice daily on dry skin. 3. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily. 4. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching. 5. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
