What is the difference between the 500 calorie hcg diet and the 1200 calorie diet? I am an insulin dependant diabetic and been trying to loose weight for 4 months. During this time i have only lost 25 lbs. I eat very healthy, low low low carb, lots of veggies, and moderate protein. I do sugars just for low blood sugar 50 or lower. I am wanting some help but i am worried about the 500 calories being to little

The difference is the calories mainly. The 500 calories is very very low calorie diet and it is possible that after it has been completed and you resume your normal diet that your weight may rebound.

The 1200 calorie diet may be a better option for you.
25 pounds in 4 months is approximately 6 pounds a month, which is just over 1 pound a week.

Most persons lose 1 to 2 pound a week so you are doing well.
