Suggest Treatment To Reduce Weight While Having Hypothyroidism
I have hypothyroidism. I have been taking 62mg of T4 for 2 months and a week and I have been exercising every single day since I found out what's going on. I used to be 57 kilos and for the last 3 years I am 62, which is a lot for how tall I am. I am also on a very healthy diet for a long time, long enough to be very disappointed that I haven't even lost 1 kilo... What is going on? I checked my hormones again and they were better, seems that taking the T4 is working.. but nothing on the weight loss. I am very frustrated as my job demands I look thin. I mostly suffer from face and breasts bloating. Please advise :)
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have hypothyroidism and you are taking supplement T4. That is good. For weight reduction you have to keep your TSH at low normal range. Adjust the dosage accordingly. Continue exercise and take low fat diet.
