Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand..

As per your complain it seems that TMJ in your case is due to stress and when you stop doing yoga there is a possibility that stress increases and it can lead to certain mal-habits like teeth grinding habit and it can exaggerate TMJ..
You should consistently do stress relieving exercises, take a soft diet.
When there is pain you can also take painkillers and muscle relaxants.
Take soft diet..
Avoid excessive mouth opening..
Massage the muscles over the jaw joint progressing towards the neck with finger tips in round gentle motions..
You can also do warm compresses ..
In case if still there is pain you can e advised to wear mouthguard..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
