Hemoglobin not rising in spite of giving EPO injections can be due to the following-
1. Iron Deficinecy
2. Occult Blood Loss through the GIT
3. Blood loss during Dialysis
4. Chronic Infections
5. EPO resistance and Bad quality of EPO.

Please look into these factors and your Nephrologist or Dialysis Tech will be able to take care of the issue. Recurrent Blood transfusions should be avoided if there is a possibility of going for a Kidney transplant at a later date.
