Suggest Treatment To Heal The Pus Filled Pimple In The Leg Crease
I have had a pimple in-between the leg crease of my vagina and leg for a long time. it got really big and inflamed and would never pop. One day it became popable. I would pop it on occasion to get the puss out and hope it would heel quicker. Now I have a small somewhat deep hole where the pimple was. I don t know what to do to get this away or what it really is. I started cleaning it with peroxide and putting triple antibiotic on it. It gets irritated because of my underwear line and its not like the sun shines down there to heal it. Help!
Hi. As per your case history you are having a furuncle. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for 5-7 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
