Hello my name is Veronica - I m 74 years old. I can walk fairly good, but have a really hard time to get off a chair or toilet and walking up stairs. I have no strength in my legs. Do you have any ideas of how I can get more movement. Thanks for your time. Sincerely Veronica
Hi, It seems that you might be having some degenerative changes in your knee joints and spines as well. Go for x-ray knee and lumbo-sacral spines. After reports go for treatment accordingly. Back extension exercises will help a lot. Take calcium, vitamin A and D supplements as at this age osteoporosis is a common condition. Go for slow walking, swimming etc. Ok and take care.
