Suggest Treatment To Get Rid Of Stiches Marks And Scar

Hi Doc,recently i met with a car accident and my face was badly injured due to cut by glass of car window. 23 small glass pieces was surgically removed from my face.Got long stiches in forehead ,near eyes and grafting was done at corner of nose.applying neosporin and contractubex twice daily.its been 1.5 months ,scar is very bad and its becoming keloid scar .kindly suggest me what treatment should i take to get rid of stiches marks and scar. Hi Ms Neha,

Scars remodel over time. Most of them improve. There are a few things which can help. Like sun protection, massage and application of Silicone sheet. In some cases the treating doctor may suggest injection of medicines to make them less prominent.
