Hello and welcome to 'Ask a Doctor' service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I hope you have been medically diagnosed to have yeast infection. Yeast infection is a fungal infection. Though it can be transmitted through sexual intercourse, it is also found commonly in commode users. Use some antifungal vaginal pessaries deep inside the vagina. Along with that, use Lactobacilli vaginal ovules and Lactobacilli perineal wash.

Since this gets transmitted sexually, both the partners should get the treatment simultaneously. Please observe absolute sexual abstinence till both of you are declared completely cured. Clip the nails short and shave the private parts clean to prevent reinfections. Take care of commode cleanliness.

I hope this helps you. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishikant Shrotri
