when i bend my left hand up i have bad pain that goes down into my wrist, i believe this could be carpel tunnel and i should wear a brace.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,
If the pain increases on extension of wrist , there is a possibility of CTS. But also note whether the pain is in the area of median nerve distribution ( outer part of hand). There may be associated tingling and numbness in this region.
The diagnosis is clinical. But things can be confirmed by NERVE CONDUCTION STUDIES.
