Suggest Treatment For White Spots On Tonsils

I had a white-yellow colored "throat nugget" a couple weeks ago. When I removed it my ear & throat hurt for about a week. The doc said it was a viral infection/pharyngitis & that there are just deep crypts in my tonsils. I have another "nugget" in the same spot again. How do I get rid of them as this can't just be a regular viral infection going on for about 3 weeks. All the other symptoms achy body & joints, fever, has gone away

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain white yellow throat nugget that you could remove from the Tonsil along with sore throat and as you are already informed about deep crypts on tonsils seems to be a Tonsil.stone or Tonsillolith..
It is formed due to calcification of debris and food particles that gets accumulated over the tonsils and it is commonly seen in individuals with deep crypts on tonsils as food easily gets impacted over it..
It is common cause for Tonsillitis and throat Inflammation..
I would suggest you to get it removed and to prevent its frequent formation gargle with a solution of hydrogen peroxide and water..
You can also do warm saline gargles..
Gargle with water after eating anything..
Avoid high Calcium containing foods like Milk products..
