Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

As you said you suffer from vitiligo. Vitiligo is an autoimmune skin disease of unknown cause. Genetic tendency may be there. It is a benign condition having cosmetic concern. It may be kept untreated. If it is embarassing you may take treatment. There may be good response after long term treatment. You may take trimethoxsalen 25 mg tab daily in morning and levamesole 50 mg tab at night. Application of tacrolimus 0.1% oint twice a day on the patch might improve the disease. You may take treatment under supervision of dermatologist. You may get benefit after long term treatment. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks..
