Last five year i chewed paan masala,now i awoid last 15 days pan masala, ,i hve white mouth n ulcer near tonsil, ,when i shown my throat to surgeon they say ,its sub mucus fibrosis,,they prescibed me lycopene n vitamin tablet, my tonsil see white n leathery ,n left tonsil is hve hole n whiteL

hello thanks fr consultng at hcm..it is potentially malignant lesion--oral submucous fibrosis..so u may need surgery ..latest is stem cell therapy..firstly stop the habit of chewing pan masala...it is irreversible condition but symptoms can be reduced..u can take lycopene-antioxidant.tablets..consult oral surgeon fr surgery...hope it helps..tc..
