Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As you have already had
Herpes simplex virus infection in the past these white bumps can be outbreak of the viral infection leading to cold sores on the lower lip..
Other causes can be bacterial infection,
allergic reaction etc..
I would suggest you to
consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and if required for confirmation of diagnosis of the viral infection few investigations like Antigen-antibody reaction, viral culture, and polymerase chain reaction are a few tests that can be conducted as per requirement..
In case if
HSV infection is confirmed Antiviral oral and topical intake like
Acyclovir therapy can help in preventing further outbreaks..
In case of allergic reaction anti allergics like Levocetrizine or Allegra can be advised..
In case of bacterial infection antibiotics oral and topical can be advised..
Doing cool compresses can also help..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
