Suggest Treatment For Wheezing

was given medrol pak and zpak today for bad wheezing/bronchitis. ok to start them say time? Just took a puff of ventolin and I wasnt sure if this is what didn t agree with me once b4 but I dont tolerate too many diff meds or any all at one time. I feel a tightening in my throat prob from all the coughing & want to start the med that will help this part first. its late so cant call dr but just curious. just freaks me out to take 6 pills on the pak all at once. thx!! Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you should consult pulmonologist first and get done chest x ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) to rule out lung infection and bronchitis.
Medrol is oral steroid and ideally this should not be started without proper indication. You need to diagnose first.
I think you are having bronchitis. So avoid oral steroid as it is harmful drug.
Start inhaler containing long acting beta 2 agonist (LABA) and Inhaled Corticosteroids (ICS). This will give you more relief as both are long acting and gives you symptomatic relief for 12 hours.
So consult pulmonologist and diagnose yourself first.
