Suggest Treatment For Warts On Neck

hi i am g k pandey, i have small wats around my shoulder and face for around one year,now recently these have increease,i visited adoctor he perscribed me dicarist150 mg to be taken on mon,and tues half tablets in morning andnight for 6weeks.whether my wats will go away with this,whether this medicine is steriod?

Hello, Mr.Pandey, the salt in dicarys is levamisole, which isnot a steroid and hence, devoid of its side-effects. Levamisole is an immunomodulator which will help in stopping the progression of viral warts, but complete resolution of existing warts with this alone is unlikely, so, u should visit a dermatologist for addition of either electrofulgration or weekly TCA application over the lesions for resolution of existing warts.
