General & Family Physician 's  Response
Wart is a contagious infection caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infection. Plantar warts are usually self-limiting usually smaller warts resolve spontaneously, but treatment is given to reduce pain, decrease duration, and reduce transmission as it is contagious and spread by direct and indirect contact.
Advise
1.     Apply salicylic acid 6% locally twice daily
2.     Cover them with adhesive bandage while swimming
3.     Wear flip-flops when using communal bathroom
4.     Do not share your wardrobe and towel with anyone
5.     Take high protein diet like egg, milk & cheese to enhance immunity
Surgery is used to treat resistant wart.
Good luck!!
