General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concern for your friend. If vomiting is just one episode without any other symptoms like fever, jaundice (yellowish discoloration of skin), pale stool, then it is advisable to take oral fluids and good rest. But if he has severe stomach ache, projectile vomiting, fever then it is recommended that you undergo diagnostic tests like CBP and USG abdomen to rule out exigencies.

Till then in order to relieve pain you can get prescribed medications like Cyclopalm and Ondensetron to get relief from vomiting. Do not drink alcohol and oily food. But I suggest you to get evaluated in physical presence by a doctor. Do not worry he shall be fine soon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suhas Chauhan
