Suggest Treatment For Vomiting And Severe Acid Reflux

25 year old son has had acid reflux, has been on medications for mental issues and torrents since 8 years old, now also has been throwing up daily, usually soon after waking up and also after he eats and has started throwing up blood. Had another endoscopy a couple weeks ago, medications not helping

Hi dear ,

As per your query your son has acid reflux problem even after taking medicine . Well acid reflux is very common problem . Treatment of acid reflux depend upon taking medicine and alteration in life style , which is very important par of treatment . I would suggest you to avoid spicy and heavy meal specially at night . eat at least one hour before going to bet , take a light walk for 15-20 mins after every meal , take antacid after every meal like gelusil . You also mention about medications related to mental issues . It could also be possible that these medications are responsible for acidity . So consult your doctor and discuss the issue with him/her . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe some substitute .
