Suggest Treatment For Vomiting And Recurrent Fever In Children
hi, my10yr old duaghter has thrown up 5 times since earlythis morning. im thinking stmach flubut shehas had a fever off and on for the past 4 hrs. i gave her tylenol childrens fever reducer about 2 hrs ago along with taking a cool bath. seemed to work as her temp was down from100.4 to 97.8. just took it again and its up to 102 now. been giving her sips of gatorade and tried to get her to eat a piece of a banana but she doesnt want it. any suggestions?
hello,i would suggest you to keep her hydrated.Because of the vomitting she is losing fluid so risk of dehydration.in children, cant wait or predict things to get better or not so i advice you to take the child to pediatrician as soon as possible. There are many reasons for the fever thats on off along with vomitting. The vomitting needs to be stopped and need to check the blood pressure as well.proper on time medical help can bring all things under control.Good that you have done the necessary things at home keeping track of temperature.Highly advisable to give medicines only after the doctor says.Need to examine the kid in person so that as per the signs n symptoms immediate action is taken.
