Suggest Treatment For Vocal Cord Paralysis Along With Hypo And Hyperthyroidism

I had cervical spine surgery last year. The mri noted a dimunitive thyroid gland with a nodule in the left lobe, measuring 8mm. Should I consult a thyroid specialist, or wait it out? I should mention that in my pre op testing, they found vocal cord paralysis. I am 55 years old, with a history of both hyper and hypo thyroidism. I currently take synthroid.

Dear sir,Being treated for hypo and hyperthyriodism and on medication for the same I presumes you have definitely consulted an endocrinologist,if not please consult as soon as possible and mention him about the nodule also. They will suggest for a neck sonography or biopsy if required. As far as vocal card paralysis is concerned there are certain exercise which are advised by a speech therapist and ent specialist.
