Hi, I had a yeast infection on the outside of my vagina. I was given some cream to use for it and the doctor told me to use it on the outside but if the inside starts to itch then put the cream there too. I m not sure how I would know if it went inside. How would I know?
Hi, Usually the cream comes with a applicator. There are instructions on the leaflet as to how to use the applicator. Follow the instructions. If there is no applicator take about 1.5 cm of cream on your index finger and apply it inside the vagina twice daily. If the itching doesn't subside in 2-3 days time ask your doctor to prescribe cream with applicator and try with it.
I hope I have answered to your satisfaction
