Hello ma'am and welcome.

You are prone to bacterial infections due to a blocked gland and so if at all you do not experience any improvement in about 48 hours from initiation of this treatment regimen, then revisit your doctor and request for antibiotic coverage.

Now, for the itching the only treatment would be treating the source of the infection (i.e. viral, bacterial or fungal). But what you can do is take epsom salt sitz baths, apply warm compresses to the region (directly or indirectly) and that warm water showers. These should help to temporarily suppress the itching till the main medications take care of the infection.

Best wishes.
