Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Itching And Thick White Discharge

I had itching, burning n a white thick discharge with no smell... I went to the doctor n I got mycosyst n clotrimazal tablets to insert high in to the vagina.. A few days have past n I m feeling better but I still have the thick discharge n I was told by the doc that I shouldn t use soap because yeast love soap... How long should I not use soap n will the thick discharge go way???

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns.
Yes, I agree with your doctor. Yeast love soap and you are not supposed to use soap instead use mild vaginal wash if you want to wash the area as it is safe. The discharge will decrease slowly but good thing is there is no itching for you now.
If you were my patient I will treat you with oral anti fungal drugs like flucanazole 150 mg once daily for 3 days for better result as you are still having thick discharge.
