Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Infection

Hello. My private area where I pee burns, itches, hurt when I try to touch it. So I used a mirror to look at it. It looks swollen and looks like a honeycomb. I can not see where I pee, it all is puffy and has holes all over by it. What in the world is this and what do I do????

Hi!
I had gone through your query.
In my opinion, considering your description, you have genital herpes.
Genital herpes is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).

Genital herpes cannot be cured. However, antiviral medication can relieve pain and discomfort during an outbreak by healing the sores more quickly.
Genital herpes is a life-long disease.Even though you may have long periods with no symptoms, you can still pass the virus to another person.
You can take Acyclovir: 200 mg PO q4hr while awake (5 times daily) for 10 days or 400 mg PO q8hr for 7-10 days.

I suggest you to talk with your doctor about what you can do to have fewer future outbreaks, and how to prevent passing the virus to another person.

Some other advice for you:
-Avoid having any sexual activity while you are being treated for genital herpes and while you have any symptoms of an outbreak.
- Warm baths with Epsom salt added to the water. You sit in the bath until the water is cool, soaking the sores and blisters. Be careful to pat dry afterward and not wipe. You can take the baths three to four times a day, or wash the area several times a day with warm water and pat dry. For comfort you can even use a hair dryer to blow yourself dry instead of using a towel.
-Wear loose fitting clothes if you have an active outbreak. Cotton underwear is better than synthetic due to the absorbency of the material.
-Use nonprescription medicines like Advil and Tylenol to lesson the pain and fever.

hope this helps.

Wish you good health.
