Hi,

Fibroid present in your uterus is very small fibroid. It may not require immediate attention if you do not have any symptoms; particularly, heavy menses and pain during menses. However tumor is a polyploidy in nature. Your history suggests that it could be fibroid or it could be endometrial polyp. If it is endometrial polyp and you are not having any menstrual problem, you may observe and follow it up. Depending upon your age and desire to have the children, further action may be decided. If you are having any problem in conception, it has to be removed. This polyp/fibroid may increase in size during pregnancy; hence during pregnancy, close follow up is needed. Please report to your Gynaecologist with detailed history to take a decision on its treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishikant Shrotri
