Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your anxiety.
Well, acute retention of urine is treated with a catheterisation of bladder.
A trial without catheter (TWOC),with medication, is given occasionally.
You'll need to continue treatment for de-addiction,depression and anemia.
The anemia can be corrected, with tablets,or blood, depending on severity.
Your LFT,platelets,RBS,creatinine and an ultrasound scan of abdomen will need to be done. These are routine tests,to help you recover fast.
If you've any doubts, send them to me,as a direct question.
Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
