Suggest Treatment For Unusual Cravings For Dirt, Rocks And Spells When Standing

Im having unusual cravings for things like dirt, rocks, and ice. And i have spells when standing or walking where i become sick to my stomach to the point i start gagging, and very dizzy. I also get the hiccups sometimes when this happens. They can last anywhere from 5-30 mins. Is there something that may be causing all this?

Thanks for contacting HCM

From your description you have a condition we call picca it is the craving and eating of dirt or ice. This is a common reaction to having anemia. your body is low on iron and is searching for food that is high in iron. With your accompanying episodes of dizziness is highly suggestive of anemia. I strongly recommend that you see your doctor to run tests for anemia.

Hope this answers your question. Please contact us again if you have questions or need help.
