Hi Doc. i am a 25 yr old girl. i had my last MC on the 4th of June 2014.had sex on the 19th of June but knew i was not safe so i used emergency pill. i was expecting my menses around 1st July but i missed it. I bought misoprostol (cytotec) 200mg. I inserted four tablets on the 7th of July. i had severe cramps and only saw little clots of blood when i urinated. this happened on two occasions. the next morning, 8th July, i put four more tablets under my tongue and swallowed after 30 mins. i had cramps which was not as severe as the first and later saw a little clot of blood when i urinated about four hrs later. i used the urine testing kit today (13th July) and i still tested positive what should i do

Here, you need to consult with local gynecologist to proceed D & C to evacuate uterine cavity.

One ultrasound scan is advised after the procedure. Maintain genital hygiene and good luck.
