Suggest Treatment For Typhoid Fever In A Child

Hello Dr,
My son is 3 yrs 3 mths having typhoid fever from a week..the report says acute phase of typhoid does it mean the initial stage of typhoid. Is it necessary to shave his hair now or later is ok.He keeps falling ill often with bronchitis, cold , cough..this is his case from birth and now its typhoid..pls advise what should I do.

Hi. Acute stage of typhoid is the initial stage. I hope the child is on antibiotic treatment. If taken treatment properly it does not have long term problems. No other special precautions are needed except good hygiene and supportive treatment.
