Suggest Treatment For Type-2 Diabetes

Hi yes my son has type 2 diabetes and he had soda around 4 and a snack we did the carbs and insulin for the snack but not the soda and his blood sugar is high he just ate dinner should I account for the soda now or should I just count the carbs with dinner and have him drink water and check again in 2 and a half hours

You need to account for sugar if it is carbonated drink contains sugar. if it is plain soda without sugar then no need to need to account for the soda.
kindly check his sugar level again after 2 and a half hours.
