Start with tab carbamazepine 200 mg twice daily
Increase dose weekly till 1200 mg per day. Higher doses may cause sedation, again more common in Indians.
If pain still persists ten add
Tab gabapentin 300 mg twice daily
Tab Amitriptyline 25 mg once daily
In some patients pain persists despite all medications then ganglion block should be done.
Hope my answer is helpful to you. Take care.
