Suggest Treatment For Tonsillitis During Pregnancy

Hi

I am 29 weeks pregnant and have (what feels like tonsilitis) as I get this often, but have only had it once during my pregnancy, but got very sick as the doctor said that it was poisening my body. should i wory - will it effect my baby and will the doctor be able to give me mes or will i be waisting my time?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.Tonsillitis is a infection of the tonsils and should be treated effectively in pregnancy. If not treated properly and in time, the infection can lead to preterm labour and delivery.
I would suggest you to consult an ENT specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated accordingly.
