Suggest Treatment For Tonsillitis And Sore Throat

Hi my son is 5 years old and was diagnosed with tonsillitis on Sunday and given antibiotics, he has just got out of bed to tell me his throat is sore. One of the glands on his neck has got bigger, he has a very spotty tongue, his nose if sore and he has cuts at each side of his mouth. I am just wondering if you could help me to know what s going on with him please. Thank you.c

Hello dear,
Welcome to HCM. It seems your son has mixed infection.I prescribe you medicine for tonsillitis and stomatitis:
-Lozenges:Sualin,Strepsils help reducing inflammation.
-Avoid sour cold drinks
-Nasal decongestant spray
-Cetrizine 0.25mg/kg/dose every 12 hours for 3 days.
-Apply Pansoral for her tonsills
-Do compress with Camphora for her throat(crash tablets with water).
-If her tongue is white you can give to her antifungal Fluconazole 50 mg for resolve.
-Hot drinks with ginger tea,turmeric powder,lemon
Recovery soon.
